Cars with big boots
Whether you need extra boot space for hauling everyday shopping, your luggage for your holidays, or even a mobility scooter, everyone has different requirements of how big of a boot space they need depending on what they need to transport.
Storage space options vary widely from car to car, but here are some of the top things to look out for when you’re shopping around for cars with large boot space.
1) Space
Depending on the car manufacturer, they measure boot capacities differently. Some may measure in cubic metres while others measure in litres, so it’s important to check this in the specifications and features.
However, knowing the amount of litres you can place in your boot isn’t always helpful, and instead you need measurements. So, be sure to check the dimensions in the car's description too.
2) Shape
The shape of the boot has a big impact on how easily you can load items in and out. Does the boot have quite a narrow opening that makes it difficult to load items in and out, or is there anything obstructing you, such as the taillights.

The fact the Tucson is both longer and wider compared to competitors such as the Nissan Qashqai, this helps make more space inside for both passengers and whatever you need to transport.

The Polo does the job if you want to transport shopping, take your bike out, transport your pets or fit some holiday luggage.
